random thoughts – Day 1,576 – (Thursday) – ok day

Another Thursday in the home remote-office. It went by rather quickly. As work days go, it was mostly distraction- and irritation-free. Edits were received on a project. Approved ads were delivered. New ads were sent for review. Questions were posed. A meeting was prepared for and then rescheduled until next week. Words were written. And then it was all gloriously over and time to go to the gym.

Dinner!
The gym was also annoyance-free. Not too crowded, and my favorite furthest from the ceiling fan trade winds was available and waiting for me. In the 30-minute circuit room, the machines I wanted to use were open. There was no wait for a massage chair.

A trip to Family Dollar involved methodically walking the store row by row as I tried to remember what I needed. After browsing one-fourth of the place, the household supplies row and the shelves of trash bags were just the reminder I needed. Bingo! It hardly seems worth the effort to pull out the debit card to buy just one package of trash bags so the browsing continued. Wet cat food to see if Kiki will eat it again or is back on the boycott. A bag of butter flavor popcorn (aka tonight’s dinner). Instant lemonade, but no iced tea because there was none. Whaddup, Family Dollar? No instant iced tea, no bottled iced tea, no jugs of iced tea, nothing but tea bags that would need to be steeped and then chilled and I already have about 10,000 of those. I like iced tea, but not enough to suffer through all that exhausting work.

Cute bunnies!
While I was enjoying fine dining in front of the TV, the two young bunnies were lounging in the front yard. One sat on the asphalt walk, facing towards the front door while the other sat on the lawn facing toward the street. They are probably the culprits that have eaten the flowers off all the violets and possibly the mums and echinacea. At least they are cute. Inside, Kiki was under the dining room table. It was a picture of domestic tranquility at The BungaLowell.

The most annoying aspect of the day has been realizing that Prime Video now has commercials. Apparently, it happened in January, so clearly I don't watch much Prime. And when that is the most annoying thing in a day, it's been an overall, not too bad day.
