random thoughts – Day 1,144 – (Friday) – chill and mud

Garden center in bloom.
The rainy, cloudy weather has had me feeling cold all week. It’s been exhausting. To add to the health quirks, the phantom cigarette smell and taste have returned. It's been a couple weeks now. It's gross and it's really wearing on me. Coupled with the tinnitus, it's a real poop party going on in my cranium.

The workplace excitement for the day was actually at someone else’s workplace. There was a photo shoot at a customer site (garden and landscaping center) which involved flowers in pots and hanging baskets, shrubs and trees, and a trek to and fro through some mud. The team there was busy setting out newly arrived stock. The flowers were colorful and the stacks and shelves of pots were vibrant.

The photo shoot was fun, but I was a little chilly and it was nice to get back to the office. Except I was cold there, too.

Mud!
For a chunk of the afternoon, those if us in the office today set up an assembly line to pack boxes with shred, and coffee themed items for sales calls. There are times when a little light assembly work is perfect for clearing the head.

For the after work segment of the day, it’s been leftover ravioli with sauce, a glass of wine, quality time with Winston, and Queen Charlotte, a Bridgerton Story on Netflix. Plus, the cigarette smell and the shrill of tinnitus. Ugh.
