random thoughts – Day 1,112 – (Monday) – time

Today had a lot going on. Like, a LOT.

There was the everchanging cavalcade of technology quirks that ate a chunk of the morning with programs that suddenly displayed differently, disappearing icons, and suddenly missing login credentials. There were files that could be found but not opened, error messages, and more, which would just be painful to rehash.

Lunch!
There may have been some swearing. Ok, a lot of it. Some things need to be expressed assertively (loudly) in order to be shaken off to allow moving on. This form of exorcism was possible because I was working remotely.

Lunch at the desk was a delicious spanikopita twirl. It killed the hangry feeling quite nicely. Those might be my current favorite meal item from the fine folks at Market Basket.

Then there were back-to-back video meetings. There was an afternoon visit to a branch for some photos of some key marketing delivery elements, then an on-location photo shoot for a customer ad campaign with two highly entertaining marketing guys with a lively dynamic and fun stories.

As if that wasn’t enough, Finnish lessons began again tonight, so there was the traffic loaded drive to Fitchburg after work. It's officially time to deal with the textbook, homework, and class preparation.

Oh, and it’s performance prep season, so before work I was trying to squeeze in practicing our dances for an Earth Day event, but managed to run through only one out of the four.

It looks like some time management skills are going to be put to the test over the next three or four weeks. Or cultivated from scratch. Let’s hope it goes well.
