“Remoted – Hybrid” – Day 698 (Wednesday) - lessons learned

Current breakfast fixation.
There was an early log in to the work computer to get a jump on email and a couple things before heading out for two more photo shoots.

Breakfast was the usual coffee and the current fixation of a toasted English muffin with butter and orange marmalade. This was the sixth consecutive day with this breakfast, but now the English muffins are gone, so there won’t be a seventh. The package of English muffins was the best 99-cent item in the Market Basket pre-snowstorm shop, and I wish I’d bought more. Lesson learned. Stock up on 99-cent English muffins.

Metal shavings at a
location shoot, 2-2-22.
The photo subjects were fun and lively and it was energizing to be with people. This is a good reminder that maybe I’m not fully anti-social. Lesson learned. It’s possible I’m not really the lone wolf I play in my imagination. Maybe I’m a parasite that feeds off the energy of other life forces.

Back in the office, the afternoon featured several fresh ad concepts from our designer and two solid contenders were chosen. Attention was focused and progress was made on a couple projects. While all the progress was happening, suddenly somehow it was 5:00. It was startling how fast the day flew by, but some days are like that and now the workweek is half over. Lesson learned. Focus and progress make the time fly.
